Rhythm Papercut Display
The Rhythm Papercut Display was created for my Masters of Art show. My goal was to express the different types of rhythm in a 3-dimensional papercut lettering display. Each letterform showcases one type of rhythm through different forms, materials, and paper types. I wanted to teach people a variety of rhythms while engaging them in a paper sculpture.
Each piece was handcrafted using foam board, cardstock, a variety of papers, and reflective vinyl. I explored a variety of 3-dimensional form types that could express the differences in visual rhythm.
